Radha Raman Temple In Vrindavan

Radha Raman Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India and is dedicated to Lord Krishna in the form of Radha Raman (meaning “One who gives pleasure to Radha”), this temple holds significant religious and cultural importance.

The temple was established around 1542 AD by Gopala Bhatta Goswami, a prominent saint and one of the six Goswamis of Vrindavan, who were followers of the 15th-century saint and reformer Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

The deity of Radha Raman is a self-manifested deity (Swayambhu), and the image of Lord Krishna is said to have appeared miraculously from one of Gopala Bhatta Goswami’s shaligram shilas (sacred stones).

This Temple is renowned for its strict worship traditions and the daily dressing and decoration of the deity with intricate outfits and jewelry. Devotees believe that the deity has a unique and captivating smile, and the temple is a center for Krishna bhakti (devotion).
